603,374. Brassieres. LAPCHIN, E. C. Oct. 19, 1945, No. 27475. Convention date, April 21, 1942. [Class 141] A brassiere for nursing mothers of the kind in which each breast cup is provided with an opening 1 normally covered by an associated flap 3 secured by a hook or press stud or equivalent fastening, is characterised in that the opening has a concave lower edge adapted to extend below the breast nipple and to expose only the nipple and proximate portion of the breast when the flap is undone, the remainder of the breast being supported by the brassiere. In a brassiere having an inset floral decoration one of the petals is used to form the flap.
