594,287. Mooring anchors. LETTING- TON, W. May 15, 1944, No. 9294. [Class 113 (i)] A mooring anchor or sinker is of hollow pyramid form and has a horizontal flange a<2>, Fig. 2, surrounding the base. The flattened top is recessed at a<1> to receive a lifting eye-bolt. Tilting shackles c, Fig. 5, are located at a<3>, a<4> on opposite ridges a<5>, or rocking shackles may be inserted through holes in the inclined faces a<6> of the anchor.
