Abstract

Muerto de fondeo de hormigón.#El muerto de fondeo está constituido por un cuerpo tronco-piramidal de hormigón, en el que se definen dos zonas, una superior y otra inferior, con un espesor para cada una de ellas, respectivamente, en donde la densidad de hormigón de la zona superior es inferior a la densidad de hormigón de la zona inferior. Es decir, la densidad de hormigón es creciente en sentido descendente, para conseguir una óptima estabilidad del muerto de fondeo que constituye dicho cuerpo tronco-piramidal, estando éste dotado de una pirámide invertida sobre el centro de su base inferior, que favorece el enclavamiento del cuerpo tronco-piramidal constitutivo del muerto de fondeo, ante posibles tensiones laterales sobre el mismo.
