Class 20(iv)] A building method consists in erecting two parallel walls 1 and 2, bracing them at intervals by cross-brick pillars 4 formed of ordinary bricks to provide a series of chambers 3 in which the air is stagnant and thereby enhancing the insulation between the inside and outside of the building.
