592,776. Tool carriers for agricultural implements. KNIGHT, G. H. F., and MECHANISED HORTICULTURAL IMPLEMENTS, Ltd. May 31, 1945, No. 13689. [Class 6 (i)] A tool carrier for agricultural soil working implements for attachment to a vehicle comprises a body constituted by a pair of parallel spaced plates 1 carrying, pivoted between them, from each of two opposite sides, parallel links 3, 4 having at their other ends a connecting link 5 or links adapted to receive a soil-working tool or tools. Also mounted on plates 1 is a clamping post 2, by which the carrier may be mounted on the frame of a vehicle, and linkage actuating-gear comprising a spindle 8 and a travelling block 10 adjustably carried on the spindle and connected to the tool carrier linkage for opening and closing the latter. The spindle 8 is screw-threaded and is revolubly mounted in a bearing 7 fixed to plates 1, 2. In modifications, tools may be fitted on arms 3 4, and in the base of the clamping post 2. The invention may be mounted on a vehicle in the manner described in Specification 583,006.
