[Classes 94 (ii) and 133] A bag having flexible sides and an open end is furnished with a winding device secured in a pocket on the outside at the open end and has a shank around which the top of the bag can be wound to close the mouth tightly. A flexible purifier bag 5 for use in rendering sea &c. water potable is shown with its mouth wound round the shank of a winding device provided with a slotted head 16. A cord 18 may be wound round the closed end and passed through the slot so that it is frictionally held. Specifications 576,969, 590,217, 590,265 and 590,266, [all in Group 1], are referred to.
