Abstract
583,527. Fluorescent lamp fittings. REVO ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., and FELTON, A. E. April 26, 1944, No. 7760. [Class 75 (iv)] The control gear of a tubular fluorescent lamp is mounted within a casing b which can be attached to a platform c arranged above the inverted trough reflector a of the lamp or removed therefrom and mounted on a wall or other support as described in Specification 581,377. The platform c is attached by its peripheral flange c<1> to rods e from which depend inclined plates f having flanged lower edges extending along open beads a' formed at the bottom edges of the reflector. The plates f form with the sides of the reflectors channels for the electric leads to a plug socket h on the platform. The casing b consists of a sheet metal cover fitting in a peripheral trough b<2> in a base plate b' which is formed with key-hole slots b<3> for engagement with spring-loaded screws d on the platform c. Anti-vibration felt pads may be arranged between base plate and platform as described in Specification 576,852.
