583,423. Wrist support. CAPOSELLA, J. C. Oct. 25, 1944, No. 207-70. [Class 81 (ii)] A wrist supporter comprises a strip of flexible material, e.g., leather or fabric having ends B and C provided with thumb receiving openings 15, the ends being wider than the intermediate portion A which is preferably elongated so as to wrap many times round the wrist and the adjacent hand and forearm. The end C is fitted over the thumb and the bandage wrapped round the wrist until the end B can also be fitted over the thumb. To secure the support the stud fastener elements 16 and 18, which face in opposite directions; co-operate adjustably with one or other of the corresponding socket elements 17 and 19. Alternatively an elastic textile material provided with hook fasteners may be used.
