Abstract
581,352. Wooden slabs. EDLUND, U. I. S. Feb. 28, 1945, No. 5039. [Class 145 (ii)] Wooden slabs for building purposes, particularly for use in setting up moulds for concrete constructions, consist of a number of boards 1 with their longer edges in contact, held together partly by corrugated fasteners 5 driven in across the joints and partly by metallic bars 2 held in grooves at each end of the slab by cramp-irons 3. One end of each bar 2 may be bent and sharpened to a point to form a nail 4 which is driven into the wood.
