Abstract

A cutting or cutting-and-embossing die for a biscuit-cutting machine is made from a thermosetting plastic material by moulding. The material which may be urea-formaldehyde or phenol-formaldehyde resin, may be reinforced by cotton or like fibres, metal mesh, metal rods or wire, and may contain graphite for lubricating purposes.
