[Class 61 (ii)] A device for closing the apertured fixing lugs 2, 3 of a conduit clip 15 comprises a lever 8, a pair of spaced arms 1 with inturned jaws 6 to engage behind the foot 4<1> of the clip lug 2 and pivoted to the lever at 9 and another arm 10 pivoted to the lever at 11 and provided with a jaw 7 to engage the clip lug 3. The jaw 7 has apertures through which slide inclined parts of the arms 1 so that the jaws 6 first move inwards to closely engage the foot 4<1> when the lever is swung followed by the movement of jaw 7 towards the jaws 6 to bring the lugs 2 and 3 together.
