Abstract

<PICT:0579258/IV/1> Textile materials are lifted out and lowered back into a liquid by a succession of two or more closely spaced elongated members 6, 7, over which the material is passed, and which are rotated in the same direction at the same peripheral speed. Each of the members 6, 7 comprises a pair of oval spiders 11 mounted on opposite ends of a shaft 12 and connected by spaced laths 13 which support the material.
