[Classes 42 (i) and 138 (ii)] [Also in Groups XI and XIV] The edge or edges only of a mat, hand-iron rest, plate &c. made of asbestos or similar friable material, are prevented from disintegration by dipping in a solution of a synthetic resin, silicate of soda &c. which is non-combustible and may be distinctively coloured.
