Abstract

An aqueous emulsion of a polyvinyl paste is used as adhesive for production of laminated fabrics. The paste consists of a polyvinyl derivative in a plasticiser and may be polyvinyl chloride in tricresyl phosphate. Polyvinyl alcohol or a water-soluble cellulose ether may be used as emulsifying agent. The emulsion may also contain stabilisers or substances acting as acid acceptors such as lead silicate, carbonate or oleate and it may contain pigments.
