Abstract
Cellulose derivatives such as nitrocellulose (either as such or as celluloid), cellulose acetate, cellulose aceto-propionate, cellulose acetobutyrate and ethyl cellulose may be dissolved in diacetin with or without water or in aqueous lactic acid. In the case of diacetin up to 20 per cent water, and in the case of lactic acid up to 25 per cent water, may be present. Specifications 117,068, [Class 15 (ii)], and 479,403 are referred to.
