Abstract
576,430. Picture frames. TURNER, W. R. May 2, 1944, No. 8212. [Class 11] Pictures are mounted by being secured by screws c to angle pieces a which may be formed with rounded parts as in Fig. 3, and may be secured to pictures or mirrors of shapes other than rectangular. The pictures &c. are hung by means of eyes on the screws c and wires e which may be connected as in Fig. 4 for concealed hanging, the junction h of the wires being secured to a nail &c. For ordinary hanging, wires connected at h<1> to a hook may be used. The edges of the pictures may be received in channel members b connected to the angle pieces a, and intermediate supporting members d may be used which are also held in place by screws c. Clamping plates f may be used between the screws c and parts a, d. The angle pieces may be made in part of wood a<1> and metal e, Fig. 2, or the various parts may be made of plastic materials.
