575,976. Electric light fittings. GENERAL ELECTRIC Co., Ltd., and PEIRCE, M. W. April 24, 1944, No. 7567. [Classes 75 (ii) and 75 (iv)] An electric light fitting comprises a reflector 1 and a transparent bowl or cover 2 separated by an apertured ring 3 filled with cotton wool or other filtering material to prevent the entrance of dust into the enclosure. The parts are held together by a flanged expansible ring 7 formed with circumferential apertures 8. The ring 3 may be provided with felt facing 6 and a felt ring 11 is interposed between the bowl 2 and ring 7.
