[Also in Group XXVI] An electrically-driven fan is mounted on a wall by means of a guard comprising a skeleton dome formed of bent wires such as 6 connected by wire circles 4 or a wire helix, at least, some of the bent wires, shown at 1, being together strong enough to carry the motor and fan and having extended ends 7, 8 for attachment to the wall or wall-plate and the motor casing respectively.
