[Class 39 (iii)] In an electric resistance heater in which a wire is wound on a glass rod, strip or plate, displacement of the coils is prevented by heatthe glass surface to softening point so that the wire becomes embedded sufficiently to prevent movement. The heating may be effected by 'applying to the winding a voltage above the normal working voltage.
