Abstract

A thermoplastic composition comprises one or more vinyl halide polymers, and chlorinated paraffin wax with or without one or more plasticizers, the polymer comprising 70-99.5 per cent of the composition, the plasticizer comprising not more than 12.5 per cent, the wax comprising not less than 0.5 per cent and in the absence of plasticizer not more than 5 per cent and the plasticizer/wax ratio being never greater than 10 and never less than any positive value of the expression (2.28-0.024N), where N is the percentage of polymer in the composition. The ingredients used are those described in Specification 573,841.
