572,663. Collapsable tubes. BRITISH UNITED SHOE MACHINERY CO., Ltd., and PRATT, J. W. April 9, 1941, No. 4711. [Class 66] The contents, e.g., a rubber composition with sulphur and a vulcanizing accelerator, of two or more collapsable tubes t, lying side by side, are extruded through a manifold to mingle in equal proportions at the delivery pipe 45, by a curved plate 15 one end of which is pressed downwardly by turning a nut 19 on a threaded rod 11 pivoted at 9, and mounting also a pressing head 17 and a thrust-race 21. As the plate 15 compresses the tubes t against the base-plate 1, its rear end may rise against pressure of a spring 35 on a rod 25 pivoted at 29. There is a depending handle 5.
