[Class 38 (iv)] Temperature; variables in general.-In an automatic regulator which is thermally controlled to maintain constant temperature, pressure speed, electrical power, or other variable, the thermally - actuated adjusting means are enclosed in a thermal-insulating casing, so that the effect of temperature fluctuations in the surrounding air is reduced. The enclosure may be maintained at constant temperature by electric heating resistances and a thermostat controlling them in or outside the enclosure. One side of the enclosure may be constituted by a body, the temperature of which is controlled by the regulator.
