Abstract
570,379. Electric cables. CALLENDER'S CABLE & CONSTRUCTION CO., Ltd., CALLENDER - SUCHY DEVELOPMENTS, Ltd., BRAZIER, L. G., FAIRFIELD, R. M.; and SUCHY, C. T. July 22, 1943, No. 11930. [Class 36] A high-frequency electric cable comprises an inner conductor 1 enclosed in a tube 2 of insulation (other than rubber) upon which is electrolytically deposited an outer conductor or screen 3. The tube 2 may consist of normally solid polymers of ethylene and engages either the conductor 1 or a continuous or intermittent spider 5 of polythene to provide airspace insulation. The conductor 3 consists of silver or copper and is protected by an extruded sheath 4 of plasticized polyvinyl chloride.
