Abstract

The electrical properties of plastic polymers of chloro-2-butadiene-1.3 are improved and rendered stable by admixture with lead resinate (up to 5 per cent). An insulating-composition consists of the polymer 78 per cent, lead oxide 10 per cent, carbon black 10 per cent, and lead resinate 2 per cent.
