565,883. Roofing tiles. TURNERS ASBESTOS CEMENT CO., Ltd., and HARRAP, E. R. May 10, 1943, No. 7404. [Class 87 (i)] A reinforced tile is produced by introducing metal strip or other reinforcement 4 between two preformed but unset sheets of asbestoscement &c. overlapped except at the edges and subjecting them to pressure sufficient to bond them together, the resulting thinner edge parts being moulded into corrugations 5, 6 adapted to overlap. The overlapped tiies may be secured together by bolts 12 passed through holes drilled through the reinforcement. Specification 541,020, [Group VIII], is referred to.
