[Class 17 (ii)] A foot-arch support 10 is formed of resilient sheet material of substantially uniform thickness, and preferably of transparent thermoplastic material such as cellulose acetate butyrate, and is shaped with a longitudinal arch 11, a transverse arch 13 at its forward end, a depression 12 at its heel end, and an upturned margin 14 extending all around except at the forward edge. By locally softening the support, specific areas may be more correctly shaped to fit individual feet. A strip of fabric 15 may be attached to the under side of the forward edge, to eliminate squeaking due to slipping. In a modified construction, the margin 14 extends along the inside of the support, round the heel, but only to the middle portion of the longitudinal arch on the outside of the support.
