[Class 99 (i)] A condenser tube end-plate fitting comprises a ferrule 6 made of thermo-setting plastic material and having ratchet teeth on its end face 10 which bite into the packing 9. The ferrule has a tube-lining skirt 13 providing a recess 14 for the end of the tube.
