Abstract

563,668. Mixing and grinding pastes. PASCALL ENGINEERING CO., Ltd., and STRINGER, G. B. March 15, 1943, No. 4190. [Classes 59 and 86] In apparatus as in Specification 536,859 the rollers are hand driven and are arranged with their axes in an inclined plane, a spring- influenced hopper is provided and the scraper is detachable. The roller axes, which are pressed apart by springs, are adjustable by means of screws g in an inclined frame and a feed hopper i is provided which is retained by a crosspiece j engaged by springs j<2> on tie rods j<1>. The scraper k is adjustably carried by a housing k<1> engaging a, fixed plate m<1> and is locked in operative position by a spring pin j<3> operated by a lever l. Release of the pin j<3> enables the scraper, with the housing, to be removed for cleaning.
