563,012. Tuyeres. ENNESS SENTINEL, Ltd., and COOPER, C. D. Oct. 26, 1942, No. 15024. [Class 51 (i)] [Also in Group XXII] In a water-cooled tuyere for gas producers and the like comprising an outer jacket 2 and a central injector tube 1 provided with fins 5, the fins are welded to the tube 1 and the jacket 2 is formed in two or more portions and. assembled with the fins located between the edges of adjacent portions and welded thereto. End plates 4 and 6 are welded to the jacket, the plate 4 being also welded to the fins 5. The jacket is provided with an inlet 8 and outlet 9 for the circulation of water.
