Abstract
562,148. Straining liquids. PEERLESS ELECTRICAL MANUFACTURING CO., Ltd., and WRIGHT, F. H. Dec. 17, 1942, No. 17959. [Class 46] Straining apparatus for use with vegetable-peeling machines comprises a cylindrical tank 1 in which a cylindrical filter trap 14 with a longitudinal inward bulge 16 is adapted to be held centrally by brackets 9. The tank 1 is placed so as to provide a straight run from the outlet 7 to a drain and the' trap 14 is then inserted by bringing the bulge 16 opposite the waste pipe of the machine, sliding it into the tank and turning it to displace the bulge from the waste pipe so that the latter discharges into the interior of the trap.
