Abstract

560,440. Fastenings. TINN•RMAN PRODUCTS, Inc. Jan. 2, 1943, No. 82. Convention date, April 16, 1942. [Class 44] [Also in Group XXXVI] A fastening for securing a bushing consists of a spring clip 20 formed from a single piece of metal bent upon itself to provide two legs 21, 22 each with an opening for the bush and a communicating opening 26 to pass over the cable or rod B. The opening in leg 22 has notched tongues 30 which snugly engage the bush when the legs are pressed togehter and bite into it when they are released. Leg 21 may be bent over at its end 32 to limit the approach of the legs. The bush consists of two identical halves 10, each with a head 11, projection 12, and recess 13. Specification 557,409 is referred to.
