557,470. Deodorizing air. TETLEY, E. H. July 30, 1942, No. 10645. [Class 81 (i)] [Also in Group XII] Air, specially for use in breweries, is purified by passing it through an inlet pipe 5 leading to a perforated distributer 7 submerged in a solution of potassium permanganate, the air passing through a layer 6 of granite chips held between perforated partitions 3, and the moisure being removed by passage through a layer 10 of limestone chips before the air reaches an outlet 8.
