[Class 12 (i)] A bearing Z for a clock, motor, or counting mechanism has a groove or notch E communicating with a second hole B in the frame plate L and acting as a lubricant reservoir. The hole is arranged on the outer side of the plate L and above the bearing Z, and does not extend quite through the plate. The groove E communicates with the depression A around the bearing Z. The hole B may be replaced by a number of smaller holes around the bearing, and may be conical and arranged to perforate the depression A so that the groove E is unnecessary.
