553,684. Dyeing-apparatus. MELLOR, BROMLEY & CO., Ltd., and FREEMAN, S. R. T. Dec. 8, 1941, No. 15822. [Class 15 (i)] Hank poles &c. for supporting textile materials such as yarns in hank form and fabrics to be subjected to treatment by fluids circulated through them particularly where the poles are mounted in a frame and lowered into a dye liquor circulated as by a screw propellor through yarns &c. hung on the poles are constructed of flat plates 3 arranged edgewise to the flow of the dye &c. and which may be flanged over at the top and bottom edges 3a, the plates being secured together by tubular cross pieces or by means of a zig-zag strip 4 the flat bends 4a of which contact with the plates.
