Abstract

551,740. Straps. DUNLOP RUBBER CO., Ltd., and HARRAL, L. Nov. 6, 1941, No. 14302. [Class 109] To strengthen the end of a strap composed of a length of webbing, the end is encased in rubber. The rubber may be deposited upon the end from an aqueous dispersion, the rubber thus deposited being vulcanised. Alternatively, an adhesive is'applied to the end, a sheet of thin unvulcanized rubber is applied to the adhesive and the rubber is then vulcanised.
