[Class 75 (i)] In a wick lamp for vegetable oils the wick leads from the burner along a horizontal conduit into an oil receptacle arranged in a vertical plane so as to provide a head of oil above the conduit. The receptacle 13 is flat and shallow and at right-angles to the base 18 having the wick conduit 26 therein; the lamp is turned on one side for filling through the orifice 16. The burner 24 is carried on a hinged piece 20 beneath which is an inspection opening 27.
