549,587. Photographic silver solvent baths. TULL, A. G. July 18, 1941, No. 9098. [Class 98 (ii)] A photographic silver solvent bath contains a soluble ferricyanide and a silver salt solvent acidified by a buffered non-reducing; acid. Modified Farmer's Reducer contains sodium thiosulphate, potassium ferricyanide, acetic acid, and sodium acetate. Modified Haddon's Reducer contains ammonium thiocyanate, potassium ferricyanide, acetic acid and sodium acetate. The acid may also rbe boric acid. Specification 539,509 is referred to.
