548,781. Cardboard and like boxes. COLITEX CARTONS, Ltd., and YOUNG, A. C. Aug. 13, 1941, No. 10316. [Class 18] A fitting in a carton or like light container intended to facilitate the packing of thermionic valves, electric lamps &c. comprise an apertured platform 4 made from a cruciform blank and an apertured pad 7 of sponge, or natural cellular or artificial rubber secured round the aperture of the platform so that the unsupported part of the pad is displaced through the hole in the platform by the pressure of the thermionic valve &c. 12 to form a continuous annular cushion which projects from both faces of the platform. The pad may have two holes to take a valve with two pips.
