[Class 117] Apparatus for screening coal, coke &c. comprises a number of plate sections 12 formed with teeth 15 in the manner of a comb and secured in succession between side bars 10 by lugs 13. The teeth of the combs are preferably tapered and those in adjacent sections are staggered. The sections may be secured between the bars at a slight inclination to the general plane of the screen.
