548,167. Piston pumps. BROMILOW & EDWARDS, Ltd., SWIFT, H. W. June 30, 1941, No. 335/42. Divided out of 543,618. Drawings to Specification. [Class 102 (i)] A piston pump for hydraulic medium is constructed in the manner described in Specification 543,618 but, instead of the pump body or casing being shaped for direct attachment to the gearbox or power take-off extension of a vehicle for the purpose of operating tipping gear or the like, the pump is operated by an electric motor or other source of power other than a vehicle engine, and it may be used with remote control systems on aircraft or with jacks on stationary plant. Specifications 500,232, [Group XXXII], and 543,619 also are referred to.
