548,037. Rulers. SMITH, A. J. March 31, 1942, No. 4300. [Class 97 (iii)] A draughtsman's ruler or scale is made by securing to the ends of a wooden former 1, Fig. 1, pieces 2, 3 of celluloid, and in attaching to the edges, by means of adhesive and tongue-andgroove connections, strips 8, 9 of celluloid. The end pieces 2, 3 may be attached by tongue-andgroove connections and adhesive. The strips 8 and 9 are afterwards chamfered as shown in Fig. 3.
