Abstract

546,381. Wood-screws &c. HOLO-KROME SCREW CORPORATION. May 9, 1940, No. 8401. Convention date, May 26, 1939. Addition to 542,524. [Class 89 (ii)] [Also in Group XXIII] Screws with sockets for receiving a driver have surfaces adjacent the bottom of the socket for engaging the driver with a wedging action. The sockets have a number of radial flutes 3, Fig. 1, with projections 5 between them. The bottoms 4 of the flutes and the tips of the projections are convex. The driver 6, Fig. 8, engages the projections at the bottom only. A modified driver engages the surfaces 8 at the bottom only.
