Abstract
546,354. Shelf edging. KARFIOL, E. March 3, 1941. No. 2842. Convention date, Oct. 23, 1940. [Class 141] A shelf edging comprises a pleated ply 2, Fig. 1, of paper, &c. secured by adhesive 4 to any unplated back ply 1, and a front ply 3 secured to the back ply 1 by adhesive 5 so that its lower edge, which is free and may be scalloped, overhangs the upper end of the pleated ply. The front ply may be of double thickness, and either or both thicknesses may be extended to overlie the shelf. In another construction, Fig. 6, the pleated and back plies 7, 9, are secured to the rear face of the front ply 6, which may be of double or single thickness, by adhesive 8. Specification 533,044 is referred to.
