Abstract
533,044. Shelf edging. KARFIOL, E. Oct. 2, 1939, No. 27023. Convention date, Oct. 11, 1938. [Class 141] A shelf edging comprises a pleated main ply 1, the pleats being flattened, as shown, or formed as box pleats, a back ply 2 extending over the greater portion of the main ply, and an ornamental front ply 5 at the upper edge of the main ply, the plies being all glued together. The upper edge of the front ply may extend above the plies 1, 2 and be formed with a scalloped edge. In modifications, the back ply 2 may be folded over the ply 1 to form the ornamental front ply 5, and its lower edge may also be folded over the lower edge of the front ply. The ply 2, and, in some cases, the ply 5, may be folded over the shelf to form a covering.
