544.182. Cushions. WINGFOOT CORPORATION. May 13, 1941. No. 6177. Convention date. Oct. 3, 1940. [Class 52 (iv)] A sponge rubber cushion mattress &c. is composed of upper and lower portions 1, 2 of sponge rubber honeycombed with core holes 6 and a central portion 3 free of core holes. The central part 3 may, as shown, consist of a separate piece of material or may be formed integral with the parts 1, 2. The rubber cushion may be covered with padding 4 and enclosed in an outer casing 6. A casing may be provided between the rubber cushion and the padding.
