Abstract

542,788. Trays. DURBER, J. H. Sept. 30, 1941, No. 14750/40. [Class 128] A tray 4 is fitted with a removable perforated liner of metal, synthetic resin, &c. which is supported clear of the base so as to afford a drainage space. The liner comprises a grid formed of two sets of circulat or part circular ribs 7, 8, held together by radiating ribs 9 formed with downturned ends 9a. The central ribs of the sets are also extended downwardly to rest on the base of the tray and are grooved at 8a, 10a. The liner is held in place by eccentrically mounted pivotal buttons 5. The invention may be applied also to the portable tops of tables and counters.
