540,849. Boxes for toilet powder &c. PETRUSHKIN, Ltd., M., and PETRUSHKIN, H. Aug. 22, 1940, No. 13340: [Class 18] A cardboard &c. box for cosmetic or toilet powder &c. comprises a cylindrical body 1 made as a single part or as two halves telescoped one in the other or secured by a label 3 the edge at each end being beaded over inwardly to retain two closure discs 5, 7 at the top and one disc 6 at the bottom openings 8, 9 being closed by a slide 14 or by rotating the top disc. The ends are in some cases held without adhesive. A pad may be carried in the recessed top. When the top disc is rotatable the opening may be made by an incision which permits a flap to be turned up to serve as a finger-piece. The container may be charged through the bottom and the aperture closed by adhesive paper.
