[Class 99 (ii)] [Also in Group XXIX] Petrol pipes are protected against bullets, &c. by a covering comprising rings or helically wound strips of apertured cork, sponge rubber &c. enclosed in an envelope of a material such as rubber which is soluble in a hydrocarbon to provide a seal when leakage occurs. Ribs on the pipe may replace the apertured material.
