539,058. Kinematograph apparatus. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd., and DAVIES, B. R. June 3, 1940, No. 9681. [Class 97 (i)] A movable frame 3, carrying a pressure pad 3a pulled into engagement with a sprocket 1 by a spring 9, carries also a lifting lever 5 on one end of a rotatable sprindle 6 carrying, at its other end, an eccentric pin 7 movable in a fixed slot 8 and engageable with a notch 10 in which it may be retained by the spring 9 when the frame is raised. The frame 3 may be mounted on a pivot 4, the slot 8 being then arcuate, and a roller 3b may be carried by the frame.
