538,893. Stretchers. GASSELT, A. J. M. VAN, March 14, 1940, No. 4762. Convention date, Nov. 3. 1939. [Class 108 (i)] A stretcher consists of a rollable length 1 of textile &c. material with carrying means such as hand-holes 4 and 5 and provided with one more drawing, members 6, 7 attached to that end of the length 1- which is innermost when the length is rolled up for carriage, the roll being unrolled under the patient by pulling upon the drawing-members. In the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 there are shown and/or described constructions provided with means such as longitudinal hems for receiving sticks or tubes and with transverse bands having loops for holding the stretcher taut. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
